DJ Warren - The History...
Born 1966 in Wales UK. Warren started his music career, DJ'ing in 1982 in Barry, South wales.
First style of music : " LAUNCHING THE CAREER" with influences from the soul, funk reggae world, untill 1988. Playing some of the best clubs around the Barry and Cardif area like, The Philamonic, Chicagos, Mayfair, Feathers and Merry Friars etc. He also organised some of the biggest funk and Soul all dayers throughout the south of Wales.
Later moving to Bournmouth on the south coast of England, when arrived the rave scene and there "LAUNCHING THE CAREER" .with the "MIC" as well as the "TURN TABLES". Slowly but surely gaining a large following that rapidly grew, MC’ing for some of the best DJ’s in the country, like, Fabio, Groove rider, Storm and Stretch, Easy Groove, The Edge, Martin the Hat, DJ punk roc, LTJ Bukam, Spiral Tribe and all the Adrenaline DJ´s. Got residencies in some of the best dance venues in the Bournmouth area , Madisons, The Acadamy, The Palace and The Venue. Also playing with "Wheels of steel", at some of the biggest raves throughout England and Wales.
1991 moved to Spain with his friend Jason also a big DJ. Forming the dynamic duo “Two of a Kind” and started playing thier first venues in Fuengirola like “Olympo" and "Pink", "Paladium"(Torremolinos), "Tu Cassa" (San Pedro),"Willy Salsa"(Purto Banus), "Eclipse"(Nerja)", "M25"(Marbella), etc. "The only man on the Mic at the time" .
Popularity grew , leading to residencies at some of the biggest dance venues along the coast. Like, "Banana beach", "Mor", "Da Da", "Oasis palace" (Marbella), "Riviera" (Estepona), "Ra Ra's", "Long Legs" (Puerto Banus). At the same time playing for orginisations like , "Satisfaction", "Dimensions", "Turbonana circus". Playing clubs, like, "PH" in (Torre del Mar), "Niagra" in (Estepona), "Castillo de Kamerlot "(Torremolinos), "Industrial Copera" (Granada), "Caracho" (Antequerra), "Atmosphere" (Torremolinos), "Disco Ibiza 3" (Cordoba), "Anfi Theatro" (Cadiz), "Generatriz" (Algeciras), "La Box",(Chiclana) and "El Cortijo" (Conil) etc. At this time also Playing in the North of Spain in venues such as "Tik"(Gijon),"The factory" (Vitoria), "Sueños" (La colina), "Lacura" (Motril), "Malibu" (Almeria) etc.
1996 he started playing for "S.U.R" (Syndicate unity raves Sevilla), "La Nave", "Sala Hollywood", "Sevilla mia", "The Prodigy", in the Palace of congress, May Day with "West Bam" in the palenque, "Expo 92", "Fabrica de colores". He also celebrated his 30th birthday in Sevilla Mia, the party was named “30 years of Stomping.” It was an amazing party, with over 7000 people attending, (Got wrecked with Miss Spain)!
Other venues played at around this time were, "Space", "Manumission"(Ibiza), "Inerica" (Heulva), "Suprema Apothiosios"(Libon Portugal).
Then started his own parties, under the names of first "Adrenalina" and second, Later on ,"The Truth", with partner "MCM Satyagraja","Natural Grooves" with partner, "Alvero Sanchez"(DJ Troll), at the "Ministry"(Fuengirola), in all approx' 500 parties. Later had residency one of the largest outdoor venues in Fuengirola, "Mahama" for Sun Dance. He Played alongside names like, "Brandon Block, Slipmat, Daniel Devoli, DJ Punk roc", Mark Moore, Alistair Whitehead, Hugh Gunnell, Charlie C. Also Played at "Deep Oh Marbella", all this leading up untill 2004. In 2004, due to personal reasons, he decided to leave the public eye and take some time out to find himself and to look for new musical inspirations.
In 2006 Warren Re-Launched with a new energy, that was stronger than ever before, reborn with peace and new inspiration. and began to play out at Places like, Romzeys, Youngies (Calahonda), a Sunday residency in Loco's on Marbella port and for the Ministrey of sound in Fuengirola Castle. After 10 years of not playing for "Satisfaction" Played the "Retro X1" at the Collesium of Artarf (Granada), a party of over 15.000 people, Where MC 'd for "Phill Hartnol" (Orbital), "Felipe Volumen", "Jordi Slate", "Javi Union" and "DJ MAN", he has since regained massive popularity throughout Andalucia.
Lately has played at "Omenaje" (Moron de la Frontera), El Resvalon (Alcalade Guardaira) The Place (Torremolinos) and others etc. A vetron Master without a Doubt, he contines to provide us with Musical pleasures. Always first to arrive at the new style of the moment, Influenced this year by styles of
House,Trance,Progressive, electro and tribal funk.
